“As soon as I saw you, I knew a grand adventure was about to happen.” ~Winnie the Pooh
Our first trip together, started off with a nonchalant offer and I accepted. Natalie and I work together and spend many of our breaks chatting about our families, work, pets… same old shit, different day kind of chats. Through the course of “my teenage daughter is being a snot” conversation, Natalie randomly adds how she wanted to go to Ireland or Scotland and her husband didn’t want to go. Without thought, I said “I’ll go.”
Two words… “I’ll go.”
Who knew “I’ll go” would bring me to today, 5 countries later and in a state of perpetual ticket pricing for my next trip. Everything I believed about international travel had been debunked. Chucked out the window. Destroyed. I could afford to travel. I would survive driving on the “proper” side of the road. I can travel with just a backpack for 2 weeks.
My question to you is - when will you say “I’ll go?”
